A deck is a fantastic space for the family to gather. It provides a contained area for young children to play in easy sight, and it's a great extension of the house that you can enjoy even when the rest of the garden is muddy and wet. If designed and installed properly, it can act as the perfect complement to your turf, your flower beds and your water features. Then, with the right lighting and garden furniture, you have a luxurious and spacious area for family barbecues, summer meals or just a place to watch the sun set every night.
When you choose ArborMaster, you get all of that in one package. We'll work with you to create a decking design that suits your taste and the space available and then we'll build it. We've got plenty decking ideas for small gardens, so limited space is no problem! Just one look at our pictures should show you how hard we'll work to give you the perfect result.
Here are just some of the decking solutions we offer...
ELEVATED DECKING AREA
Creating an easy access to the garden from this elevated bungalow. Rests 5 feet above ground level.
ELEVATED TWO TIER DECKING
An elevated two tier decking area. The lower space would be used as a BBQ area, whilst the upper deck will capture the evening sun.
TIERED DECKING AREA
Making best use of a sloping garden. A three tiered decking area built into the slope using sleepers on the retaining wall, making good use of an otherwise difficult space to utilise.
SHAPED DECKING AREA
This decking has a kidney shaped front to remove the hard line edges, and creates a feature in a modern new build garden. Sleepers inlaid with crushed quartz creates the path to the decking area.
RESPONSIBLY SOURCED TIMBER
At Arbor Master we only use responsibly sourced Scandinavian timber.
Scandinavian Pine (also referred to as 'redwood' to differentiate it from 'whitewood' such as Spruce) is imported from Sweden, Finland and Russia. The grades vary for different uses. Knots are common but their size and quality vary according to the part of the tree from which boards are converted. The diameter of such pines normally result in board widths of 100mm - 225mm.
A revolution within the realms of decking materials, composite decking offers the same flexibility and ease of use as wood but without the need for any annual maintenance or repairs thanks to the durable qualities found within the high density polyethylene or HDPE that is blended together with maple left over from flooring and furniture manufacturing processes.
Creating water features or ponds can be the focus of attention in any garden. Whether its the sound of running water or a pond to stock fish this can be incorporated into any design to suit your lifestyle.
